Opening: Lucie Vobr Jestřabíková, Let It Burn

The exhibition will present a series of porcelain vases whose concept is a reaction to traditional onion sets. Such sets usually become domestic shrines of design, enclosed in showcases instead of practical use. What leads us to deprive these objects of their function and give them a meaning other than practical? And is it even possible to find an onion in the traditional onion design? The exhibition will be accompanied by a series of workshops for children and adults, which will take place on 18 May as part of Museum Night 2024.
